Veteran Brazil international Fernando has joined Turkish club Galatasaray from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.
Fernando, 30, joined Manchester City from Porto for for a fee of £12m in 2014.
Fernando made a total of 101 appearances in all competitions for City and helped them beat Liverpool in the 2016 EFL Cup final.
The Brazilian midfielder made 27 appearances for the Citizens last season making just one start.
Fernando was left out of Guardiola’s squad during the team’s pre-season tour of the US in July.
“It’s been a pleasure to play for Manchester City,” the midfielder said during his unveiling as Galatasaray’s new signing.
