Borussia Dortmund manager Peter Bosz says he’s not worried about losing Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona but wouldn’t rule out a transfer after Neymar’s PSG move sent shockwaves through the footballing world.
The Brazilian became the most expensive player in history this week after joining PSG for an astonishing £198million from Barcelona, who are now on the hunt for a replacement.
Dembele appears to be top of Barca’s list in that position, and various reports suggest Dortmund have now eased their stance on the player and will accept £90m for his services.
Bosz did not commit either way over the France international, but said it was not yet clear what the effects of Neymar’s huge move would be.
‘You just don’t know about the knock-on effect (of the Neymar transfer) and that’s not an issue right now,’ Bosz said at a press conference.
‘If I were to dwell on everything that might happen then I’d sleep badly at night. A lot can happen all of the time.’
Dembele is regarded as one of the top young talents in Europe right now after a superb season at Dortmund last term, which has also seen him linked with Premier League clubs.
