Ousmane Dembele was caught in an angry exchange with Borussia Dortmund team-mate Roman Burki amid speculation he could be set to leave the club in the coming weeks.
Both Manchester United and Barcelona have expressed a strong interest in Dembele and, on Monday, the 20-year-old fueled rumours of an imminent exit as he had to be restrained by Marc Bartra with tempers boiling over.
Dembele is actually on Barca’s radar to replace the Paris Saint-Germain-bound Neymar and, bizarrely, the Brazilian was also involved in a bust-up with his team-mate Nelson Semedo last week.
The France forward, who is tipped to be a future Ballon d’Or contender, recently responded to speculation linking him with moves to Old Trafford and the Nou Camp.
He told Bild: ‘Quite honestly, the speculation doesn’t interest me.
‘There was speculation during the entire summer break.
‘I like to be in Dortmund and I have consciously chosen this club after my time at Rennes.’
‘I would like to win the Champions League,’ he added.
‘I would like to become a world champion with France and also win more titles with Dortmund.
‘I am absolutely aware that each one of these goals is difficult to achieve.’
