Dominic Solanke Nets First Goal for Liverpool in Pre-season game

Nigerian descent Dominic Solanke nets his first goal for Liverpool in his debut, against league side Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old came off the bench to score as Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in a preseason game in Hong Kong.

“It was a fantastic night for me,” Solanke told Liverpoolfc.com

“The fans were amazing so to get my first goal in these circumstances was amazing. The first two games I came close a couple of times but it was worth the wait.

“It’s been a really good start to pre-season, getting to know the boys and coming away to Hong Kong.

“Everyone’s made me feel very welcome, it’s a great bunch of lads. To come away to Hong Kong and to work together to get fit, everyone needs each other, and they’ve made me feel welcome.”

A reliable source stated that he is the most outstanding player in that game.
