Sad! Super Falcons Coach Loses 15-year-old Son


The head coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, Florence Omagbemi has lost her 15-year-old son, Samson.

Samson and another classmate both lost their lives in the pool of a  hotel in Warri where they were taken to for an ‘excursion’ by their class teacher.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) sent condolence messages to Omagbemi concerning the huge tragedy and also sent prayers to the coach and the remaining family members.

The Federation through their official twitter handle @thenff wrote: Our prayers are with @NGSuper_Falcons Head Coach, Florence Omagbemi who lost her son, Samson, on Wednesday. May his soul rest in peace

According to reports, the class teacher took JSS 3 students of Challenge International School, Kolokolo Udu Road, Warri, to Golden Tulip along PTI junction Effurun for “an after exam party.”

Coach Omagbemi led Nigeria to her seventh Africa Women Championship title in Cameroon just last year.
