Odion Ighalo Sends Goodwill Message to Eagles ahead of South Africa’s Clash


Changchun Yatai striker Odion Ighalo has sent a goodwill message to the Super Eagles they get prepared to take on the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Uyo this evening.

The former Watford striker was  left out of the squad for the game by the coach, has told SCORENigeria he is confident the players called up for the qualifier will do Nigerians proud.

“I am wishing the team and individual players for the game all the best, I believe they will win and make us proud,” former Watford striker Ighalo told ScoreNigeria.com.ng

Super Eagles technical adviser Gernot Rohr excluded Ighalo and Tianjin Teda’s Brown Ideye from the squad to face the South African team as expresses difficulty in monitoring the players in China and the long distance and time between the Eastern country and Nigeria.
