Super Eagles Arrive Abuja in Style | Eagles to Move to Uyo on Tuesday


The Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived Abuja on Friday evening from Paris after a friendly game with The Hawks of Togo and they would, according to reports, resume training in the Capital city on Monday.

The National team have been given a weekend off-training to allow the players rest and after which they will resume training ahead of the AFCON qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa scheduled to hold on the 10th of June.

The team is expected to leave Abuja for Uyo, the venue for the AFCON qualifier cracker on Tuesday as stated by the Media Officer of the Super Eagles.

”The Super Eagles are heading back to Nigeria on Friday. Will arrive Lagos en route Abuja. Tuesday they’ll be in Uyo,”

”The team is mentally and physically ready for operation bring down Bafana Bafana.” Toyin Ibitoye, Media Officer of the team, stated.

According to reports, some of the players and officials are still at France to add glamour to Elderson Echiejile’s forthcoming wedding ceremony which will hold tomorrow.

John Ogu, Daniel Akpeyi, Eddy Onazi, and Moroof Youssef are expected to join the team before their trip to the capital of Akwa Ibom State.
