Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has told club president Florentino Perez to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, 26.

Manchester City will battle rivals Manchester United for the signing of Barcelona and Brazil star Neymar, 25, in a potential £100m deal.

Manchester United are also keen to sign 24-year-old defender Michael Keane for £25m but Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists the Clarets will not sell unless a suitable deal can be struck.

Former France and Monaco striker David Trezeguet has warned 18-year-old forward Kylian Mbappe not to leave the Ligue 1 champions, amid increasing interest from Real Madrid. Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev has signalled his intent to retain 18-year-old striker and Manchester United target Kylian Mbappe for at least another season. Vasilyev says the club are even prepared to turn down a bid of €100m (£86m) for Mbappe.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder James Rodriguez, 25, and Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, 23, this summer.
