Akwa United management committee has released six players into the transfer market owing to some cogent reasons.

Also shown the exit door are defenders Ibukun Harrison, Semui Liadi and Shittu Lawal.

Top midfielder Adio Yusuf who has been plagued with injury has been sidelined for the rest of the season. Adio has been put on medical leave of absence on compassionate ground.
