EXCLUSIVE: Former dream team VI player Reveals why he was dropped by Siasia


Former dream team VI player, Ekemini Effiong Eyoh revealed in an exclusive chat with soccerblitz.net why he didn’t make the squad that later won bronze in Rio.

The Winger who plies his trade with Albanian side, FK Dinamo Tirana said he was dropped because he had no manager.

He said, “during our camping in Lagos, I impressed Samson Siasia, but he kept asking me who sent and who is my manager, but since I couldn’t provide anyone I was dropped before the Korea tourney”.

He further added that, “I felt bad at first but I don’t anymore, I see it as a chance to grow in life, I am thankful for them even given me the chance to show my skills”.

The 21 year old, can play as a striker but plays mostly as a left winger for his club, he has made 16 appearances so far, scoring twice and registering 4 assists, all from the left wing.
