Chelsea recall Nathan Ake from Loan

Chelsea FC have ended the spell of defender Nathan Ake on loan at Bournemouth FC
Ake joined Bournemouth on loan in the summer and made 12 appearances for Eddie Howe’s side, scoring three goals in a series of impressive performances.

Antonio Conte wanted to add the 21-year-old to his squad as Ake offers a number of options in the Italian’s 3-4-3 formation.

Ake can play as one of the three central defenders or provide competition with Marcos Alonso as a left wing-back.

Conte had earlier confirmed he was considering bringing Ake back to the Chelsea fold.

“Ake is a really good player and now in the last five games he’s started to play with Bournemouth and is playing every game,” said Conte.
