Samir Nasri faces career ending ban after drip doctor scandal

Following his seriously humiliating Twitter hack, Samir Nasri is now facing a four year ban from football.

The player is under investigation from the WADA, who want to know exactly what went on during his LA Drip Doctor treatment.

The anti-doping authority are keen to find out what was used in the treatment, and the 29-year-old is facing the very reals possibility or of a long term ban.

Of course, Nasri and the clinic have denied any wrong doing, and have claimed that everything used in the drip was compliant with the laws put forward by the anti-doping authority.

Quite if that was the case remains to be seen, but it’s another reminder of the scandal for Nasri, and one you can’t imagine his sponsors or clubs will look kindly on.

Given the player’s age, such a long ban would clearly put his future in top flight football in doubt – and could well cause parent club Manchester City, along with Sevilla, to terminate any contract they have with him.
