Why Iheanacho has to leave Manchester City and Pep Guardiola

I must say i have been thinking about the future of our Golden Boy Iheanacho and how Guardiola failed to use him when Aguero was out injured.

Permit me to say am of the school of thought that thinks Guardiola doesn’t see anything good in African players. History has told us how he treated Samuel Eto’o who despite been Barcelona’s highest goal scorer in the Spainish la liga 2008/2009 season was included in the deal that brought Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Spain the following season. (A slap on the face on the then three time African Footballer of the Year). How Pep also preferred a Sergio Busquets to Yaya Toure then raises questions as to why he is not a fan of black footballers.

When Kelechi decided to forfeit the Rio Olympic Eagles for Manchester City, I was one of the people who supported his decision and hoped the 20-year old does well enough to win Guardiola’s heart.

Its no news Iheanacho is the most prolific striker in the premier league with the best goal to match ratio, the young lad has proven himself but i still do not think Pep has faith in him by opting to sign Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus for £27million.

Some Soccer Pundits have called Gabriel Jesus Manchester City’s savior

What will now become the fate of Kele Kele who could only start one league game during Sergio Aguero’s four match suspension.

Ex-Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen believes Iheanacho is playing under pressure than he was when Pelligrini was at the helm of affairs at the Etihad.

“Iheanacho isn’t the same player he was once. His confidence has taken a hit, I think he plays with lot of pressure as he is unsure what could happen next unlike when Pelligrini was in charge,” Owen said.

” He is surrounded by players he knows have the trust of the manager unlike during Pelligrini’s reign where he has the trust of the manager and knows it, he has regressed under Guardiola. He is under pressure”.

How long will he continue to play under pressure?

Pep will surely prefer a the 27 million pounds Brazilian striker over Iheanacho.

Whats the use of staying in a team where despite your prolific goal scoring record, you are not appreciated? I think its high time our home boy started considering other offers before it gets too late, there are so many top European teams that needs his goal scoring prowress.

Kele, we love you, we want you to stay match fit and keep getting plenty goals for club and country, 2018 world cup is at the corner, smiles.
