In-form Chelsea winger Victor Moses will be signing a new contract at Stamford bridge in the coming days, soccerblitz.net can exclusively confirm.
According to our sources, the deal will be around 100,000 pounds (about 40 million naira) a week which will make him become the highest paid Nigerian footballer. Moses currently earns 50,000 pounds a week.
Victor Moses will overtake Kelechi Iheanacho who signed a contract extension at Man City in November that saw his pay increased to 85,000 pounds per week.
The London side are keen on increasing Moses’ pay so as to ward off interest from Catalan giants Barcelona who are reportedly interested in the 26-year old Nigerian striker.
After spending the last two years on loan, Victor Moses has now established himself as an important figure in Coach Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 formation playing as a right wing back.
