Asisat Oshoala scored four goals as the Super Falcons began their African Women Cup of Nations sojourn by demolishing their Malian Counterparts 6-0.
The Arsenal Ladies striker became the tournament leading goal scorer after the opening match.

Nigeria were 2-0 up at half time with Francisca Ordega opening scoring in the 21st minute, a solo strike by Asisat Oshoala after cutting down the Mali goalkeepr in front of an empty net doubled Nigeria’s lead 5 minutes to haftime.
The Super Falcons resumed the other half of the game and kept pressing on for goals, Osarenoma Igbonovia was fouled in the box in the 47th minutes and Uchechi Sunday took the resulting penalty kick that led to a third goal for Nigeria.
Oshoala once again rounded off the goal keeper on 63minutes to record the 4th goal of the day, the Arsenal ladies striker netted her third 5 minutes later and scored the last goal in the 77th minute of the game in what was totally a one sided encounter.
