Two-time African champions, Enyimba, have told eight players to seek their future elsewhere after a disappointing season, according to reports from Supersport.com
Supersport cliamed that among the eight players are two goalkeepers as well as a player who is loan spell at the club came to an end in the concluded campaign.
The others put on the transfer list are two defenders, a midfielder and three forwards.
The Aba club have notified the players of their release but are yet to do so in writing, supersport.com sources revealed.
However, the players are now looking to secure their clearance papers from Enyimba in a bid to move to other clubs, it was learned.
A handful of players also told supersport.com that the club owe them three months wages and several match bonuses.
The Peoples Elephant finished in 10th place in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) with 50 points, 13 less than champions, Enugu Rangers, lost in the semis of the Cup and reached the group stage of the Caf Champions League.
