Carlos Tevez is only 32, but the Argentine striker has admitted he’s seriously considering hanging up his boots later this year.
The former West Ham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus star had always dreamt about ending his career back at his beloved Boca Juniors.
During his time in England, Tevez stated his desire to return to Argentina on numerous occasions but it was still a surprise when he left Juve for his home country last year, at the age of 31.
Domestic football in South America, it could be argued, has never been weaker. But Tevez was determined to return to Boca, fed up with the stresses of playing in Europe.
It now seems, however, that the striker has realised the grass isn’t greener in Argentina at this moment in time.
