Golden Eaglets star, Victor Osimhen may have settled for Wolfsburg of Germany in his pursuit for professional football in Europe.
Osimhen, won the golden boot award with his record nine goals at the 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup held in Chile. He became the subject of transfer speculation with various European clubs said to be interested. They include Sporting Lisbon, Anderlecht and Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg.
But allnigeriasoccer.com reported that Osimhen was Germany bound on Wednesday night in company of his of coach at Ultimate Strikers,Chinedu Ogbenna, Shira Yussuf and his partner, Ariyo Igbayilola, his eldest brother Andrew Osimhen and 36 Lion CEO Liameed Olawale Gafar.
Wolfsburg invited Osimhen and his representatives to Lower Saxony to be shown around the club’s facilities before penning a preliminary contract that will be activated when he clocks 18 in a year’s time.
Osimhen is blessed with pace and technique with a little brush up and hard work, he has potential to succeed in Europe.
